Canadian Milos Raonic opened up to Ben Lewis and Mike McIntyre on the most recent episode of Match Point Canada: the Official Podcast of Tennis Canada.
The former Wimbledon finalist talks about his intense training regiment through three months of quarantine and why he's feeling in the best shape he's been in years. While he's never made it past the fourth round of the US Open, he has to be considered a legitimate threat if he's healthy.
The usually reserved Raonic is quite forthcoming when asked for his thoughts on the recent Adria Tennis event that was put on by World Number One Novak Djokovic who just tested positive for covid19. Raonic explains why he wouldn't have felt comfortable attending the event that was held in both Serbia and Croatia.
Raonic also reveals why he's happy to have helped take Canada to a higher level on the international tennis scene and how he's excited to be a part of a legitimate crew of Canadian players including Bianca Andreescu, Felix Auger Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov to contend for major trophies in the tennis world.
