Take out the obnoxious punk Marat. Send him home to Connors with his tail between his legs.

Seth

I second that, Stellcat, though Marat doesn't seem to be making life easy for himself so far. He should've plowed through his first two opponents. Then again, Safin should pretty much plow through everyone, if only he can keep his head screwed on somewhat straight.

Seth

But yes, I will relish Safin bringing the beat down on Roddick and putting him back where he belongs: the king of the second-tier.

Sher

True, Safin doesn't look like he'll have the energy to take on Roddick, the way Roddick's been playing lately and all those 5-setters. Still, it would be a very interesting match. For me: anyway, regardless of who wins.

Peacemaster

There are three ways of going about doing things: the easy way, the hard way and the Marat way.

Sher

LOL, true, I look forward to seeing more of Marat's way. It's the one I prefer.

Lisa

Oh, but once Marat woke up and turned it on, he was marvelous. What a show.

Safin has a big gas tank. The guy has proven he's built for five-setters. A think a big key to the Roddick match is if Marat can win the first set. It will help him mentally. If he gets behind he might get down on himself and run out of gas quickly.

Peacemaster

Too true, Lisa. That 6 - 0 set was vintage Marat.

sensationalsafin

well safin can get down on himself if hes up 6-0 6-0 5-0 40-0. against roddick its important he gets atleast one of the first 2 sets. it sucks though cuz i wont be able to see the match live... id rather watch a match between roddick and safin either knowing safin won or in suspense, i dont want it to be ruined by roddick winning. hah.

Well to no surprise, it is a night match in Rod Laver Arena. It will be on TV at 2:30 a.m. where I am so I'll probably stay up and try and catch the first set. Damn these time differences lol

Sher

They actually showed that last 6-0 set in the daytime session on ESPN, so I was really glad to see it.
