I think Rafa handled himself so well at the end of that match. He kept his celebration muted - even though it was a big win for him - and he allowed Agassi to take the court and just stood back.
He is well coached.
I think tennis is in good hands despite the time he takes to seve.
I think he's trying to be quicker I notice he's not pulling his socks now.
The kid has class. As he said in his press conference afterwards re his muted celebrations, he said: "it was not my day, no? it was his day." I have the video; I'll post it once I get it on youtube.
I think Nadal is slow but I do not think it is a trick.
I do not know which is the polemic, the referee must control the allowed time and warn Nadal if he passes it.
But in coaching, I saw that Toni Nadal shouted something like "Vamos Rafa!" and the referee warned him, while the other coachers made signals to their players.
If you do not know spanish, do not warn. If you really want to avoid coaching, you will have to isolate coachers in the matches or something like that.
Do you really think that the coach can change one match at this level?
Exactly Antonio how can you police coaching? Taking off the glasses, a scratch of the nose etc - that could all be coaching...
If Uncle T is warned for 'Vamos' then what about Rafa's shoes? Are they going to get a warning?
He does - I think Hewitt & Rafa should get past Bag & Nieminen.
Should be a Hewitt/Rafa semi & remember Rafa was doing well against Hewitt until he had to retire injured at Stella Artois.
Apparently Turs/Nie was a bad tempered match with one of them (I think NIE) throwing his raquet & it landed in the crowd, Turs unhappy with reffing - I didn't see it though.
Its going to be Federated & Paleochora vs Ancicfan when they play ;)
Stepanek & Bjorkman how the heck are those two in the 1/4's??

Yep our kid is doing pretty well for a clay rat. Wow - wouldn't a Fed/Nad clash on grass be fantastic?

I thoght Bjorkman was not an option, I had a mistake. I saw him against Gasquet and he played nice but forgived too much.
