COOL SHIRT: Dominik Hrbaty claims his ventilated shirt helped him beat Igor Andreev in a 3 1/2-hour match.
His pink and black shirt has two holes cut in the back at the shoulder blades, allowing more breeze in the 104-degree heat on Saturday. He went to the shirt in the fifth set.
"With the holes in my shirt, the air gets through the shirt, and it cools my body a little bit," said Hrbaty, who won his third straight five-set match 1-6, 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
"I think unless you experience the shirt yourself, you don't know," he said. "A lot of people are laughing, but it's really small parts in these kinds of matches (that) play a big role. You feel it."
